BFM Builders is a family-owned remodeling company in Fort Myers. Bernard Millar founded it in 2022, after more than 20 years in construction, and he still leads every project in the field. His wife, Andrea, helps behind the scenes.

Bernard Millar
Owner & Builder
Bernard has spent more than 20 years in construction, from painting and carpentry to high-end custom homes. He earned his General Contractor license in California in 2012 and became a licensed Florida Home Inspector in 2021, so he builds the way an inspector checks. In 2022 he founded BFM Builders to focus on remodeling homes in Southwest Florida.

Bernard has held a California General Contractor license (#976698) since 2012 and is a licensed Florida Home Inspector (HI14940). When a project needs a permit, we partner with a Florida-licensed General Contractor to pull it. You can verify both licenses at cslb.ca.gov and myfloridalicense.com.
In Fort Myers. We live in Laguna Lakes, where we’ve remodeled a number of homes, and we work across Southwest Florida.
